Lila Klunder Peters, 94, of Waverly, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the Waverly Health Center in Waverly.

Lila Maurine Klunder Peters was born on January 1, 1919, the daughter of Samuel and Nellie (Lyons) Chesnut in Clarksville...

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Peace United Church of Christ in Waverly with Pastor Jon Hennings officiating. Burial followed in the Lynwood Cemetery, Clarksville. Memorials may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice and on-line condolences may be left at www.kaisercorson.com

Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly was in charge of arrangements.
