The Clarksville Public Library is now offering a wide variety of digital resources available to library users from the comfort of their own homes.
In addition to Bridges, Iowa’s eLibrary, which has been available for some time, resources are now offered for language-learning, magazines and newspapers, automotive repair, career and college readiness, kids’ research and more.
“Everything is so technology-based now. This is something you can access from home anytime. If the kids are working on a report or you need to access from home 24-7, you can get the information anytime,” said librarian Kristen Clark. “The resources are up-to-date.”
Learning Express offers hundreds of online courses, tests and video tutorials and has learning centers for taking the GED, ACT, SAT and more. It has U.S. citizenship preparation exams, a job search, resume writing help and a workplace skills learning center.
