Landers throw leads way

HAMPTON – Haley Landers of North Butler saved her best for last.
The junior thrower for the Bearcats had a final effort in the discus of 118 feet, 10 inches, which won the event at the Lady Bulldog Classic on Friday, April 10 in Hampton.
She needed that throw to surpass the host school’s Madison Mason, who had already thrown 113-6 and was leading up to that point.
