Kneip takes helm as clerk of court for county

Julie Kneip, who heads the Offices of the Clerk of Court for Floyd and Bremer Counties, assumed the lead role of clerk of court in Butler County on Aug. 1.
“When Deb Bausman retired from Butler and Franklin” counties as clerk of court in late July, “I was asked to assume responsibility for those as well,” Kneip said.
She tries to spend one day a week overall at each office, “depending of the needs of the office.” Sometimes her time is divided to half a day per office at a time.
