Kenneth “Ken” Dean Shaffer, age 79, of Charles City, Iowa, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at Methodist Hospital at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, from complications of a brain tumor. Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Clarksville with Pastor Linda Myren officiating. Visitation was held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, at the Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home in Clarksville, and one hour before services at the church.
