Joe Nichols, Parmalee to rock grandstand

Butler County Fair will feature two sizzling country acts Thursday on grandstand, including Parmalee at 7:30 p.m., and Joe Nichols to follow.

Parmalee’s recent hits, Carolina, Close Your Eyes and Musta Had a Good Time are all from their first album, Feels Like Carolina, released in December. The family band is comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and lifelong friend Josh McSwain (guitar).

Nichols’ Sunny and 75 single was his fifth career No. 1. His new single, Yeah, was released in January is a top 20 hit, outpacing Sunny and 75.
