J and C owner earns regional award

Jay Skarr received the highest honor given for allegiance and performance with Affiliated Foods Midwest Cooperative.

The J and C Grocery owner (Allison and Dumont) was recognized with the Spirit of AFM Award Sept. 19 at the 83rd annual AFM Fall Food Show in Omaha.

The award was given to him in front of a crowd of fellow retailers and vendors at the CenturyLink Center.
