Issues persist in system for children's mental health, say providers

  A rural provider of children's mental health care has concerns with decreased reimbursement from the state and a decreased frame of billable time to work in.
  While Rusty Eddy supports expectations of higher educational attainment in behavioral health workers, he said it is becoming increasingly difficult to retain highly qualified workers with the time and budget constraints under which his staff must work.
  A number of factors are compounding the concerns of Eddy, the community services director at Parkersburg-based Monarch Therapy Services.
