CLARKSVILLE – Zach Sommerfelt threw for more than 100 yards and added more than 100 ground yards with two touchdowns in Clarksville’s closest loss of the season, a 24-14 season-ending defeat by Tripoli.
Sommerfelt was pressed into quarterbacking service again like he had a season ago and it proved to be effective as coach Chris Arians’ team was able to move the ball with some efficiency.
Against the Panthers, it was the closest game of the season as Clarksville’s lone win was a runaway against Valley Lutheran in Week 3.
