The Clarksville and North Butler school boards unanimously agreed to a football sharing agreement from 2018 to 2020 at a joint meeting Wednesday evening, December 6.
Junior high games will be in Clarksville and alternate Clarksville and North Butler uniforms. Junior varsity and potentially freshmen teams will play at both Clarksville or North Butler (whichever is closest to a given opponent), in North Butler uniforms. Varsity games will all be played at North Butler in NB uniforms. Fan gear will read North Butler/Clarksville.
The Clarksville football field will be changed from an 8-player field back to an 11-player field—which should just be a matter of moving goal posts.
Coaching arrangements will be decided by administration. All coaches from both schools will be invited to serve on the joint coaching staff.
