Hometown Entrepreneurs: Meet Joel and Rosemary Sult

If you live in Allison and have needed an electrician in the past 33 years, chances are you’ve met Joel and Rosemary Sult. If you didn’t meet them through the electrical business, perhaps you’ve washed your car at Joe’s Car Wash or rented a unit at Sult Mini Storage.
     The Sults moved to Allison in 1982, when Joel Sult started working for the local electrician Leslie Van Raden. Two years later, he opened Sult Electric.
     Sult does electric installation, repairs and trenching for residential, commercial and light industrial customers.
     His favorite part of the job is being his own boss and the joy of helping others: helping customers solve their problems.
