Hometown Entrepreneurs: Meet filmmaker Micah Versemann

What makes your business or event special? Local filmmaker Micah Versemann’s job is to find out and show the world in a short promotional video.
     “What I like getting into is the heart and the story behind an event or business, trying to bring that out as a cinematic story,” Versemann said.
     The videos he films help share his clients’ talents.
     “The biggest use for businesses is it helps with their online presence on a website or just social media. Nowadays, people are less likely to sit there and read a … page about a business, but if they see a video, it captures their attention, and they sit there and watch that,” Versemann said. “Promotional media helps get out the essential information about a business, and how they can help serve customers in the area or abroad quickly, and in a way to connect the audience, so they will remember.”
