Homecoming pep assembly makes up for rained out parade

The North Butler homecoming parade was cancelled Thursday evening, but the annual community pep rally to follow made up for it.

In the old high school gym, varsity cheerleaders, dance, high school band and special groups made it feel good to be a Bearcat. Also, Caleb Wedeking and Jo Anna Schafer were crowned homecoming king and queen to close the memorable event.

North Butler football will host Bishop Garrigan Friday at 7 p.m.
