Hendricks, Sommerfelt run to 18th

DES MOINES – Clarksville senior Jackson Hendricks raced to an 18th-place finish in the Class 1A state 100-meter dash preliminaries on Thursday, May 22 at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.

Hendricks, who crossed the finish line in 11.73 seconds, was six-hundredths of a second faster than the next finisher. He was sixth in heat 3.
