WAVERLY – Only a few inches shy of her personal best, Nicole Heeren finished second in the shot put at the Wartburg Invite on Tuesday, March 14.
Heeren’s best effort, her final attempt, went for 37 feet, 9 inches to finish runner-up only to North Fayette Valley’s Marin Ehler (39-1).
