Hazard mitigation plans available for review

Every municipality in Butler County has a hazard mitigation plan for natural and man-made disasters.
Since Federal Emergency Management Agency funding depends on having a plan, local governments tend to automatically approve such plans. Public hearings on the city portions of the plan are scheduled on June 1 in Clarksville and June 8 in Allison.
Butler County has had federal disasters declared five of the six years Mitch Nordmeyer has coordinated Emergency Management here — except 2012.

Find the plan here (warning, file is 48.3 megabytes): http://www.inrcog.org/pdf/Butler_Co_MJ_HMP_2015.pdf
