Gerald “Jake” Clark Whitmire, age 91, of Aplington, Iowa, formerly of Parkersburg (and Allison) died Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Maple Manor Village in Aplington.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016, at the Reformed Church of Stout in Stout, with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, at the Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home in Parkersburg, 319-346-1534, and one hour before services at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
