Gerald ‘Jake’ Whitmire

  Gerald “Jake” Clark Whitmire, 91, of Aplington, formerly of Parkersburg, died on Wednesday, June 1, at Maple Manor Village in Aplington. 
  Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, at the Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home in Parkersburg, and one hour before services at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family.
