Fun in the run

Runners and walkers enjoyed a 5K Color Run at Wilder Park Saturday morning.
     The race was won by Dawson Clark with a time of 20:50. Sarah Faith Carson came in next as the first female finisher with a time of 24:35. She was followed by Madison Klingenborg and Madison Clipperton. Lisa Steere was the first adult to finish.
     The run was organized as a fundraiser by the North Butler After Prom committee.
     “We’ve never tried it, so we just wanted to do something different instead of just a 5K. I think it went pretty good. The funnest part was probably throwing the color,” said Angie Van Ellen of the After Prom committee.
