Fits and starts for No. 3 Clarksville

ALLISON – A few good innings for Class 1A No. 3 Clarksville were enough to top county rival North Butler, 9-2, in this non-conference softball contest at Allison on Tuesday, June 12.
Indians head coach Katie Wedeking said she has been talking to her players about having more than just a good inning here and there.
Meanwhile, North Butler head coach Jeff Stirling wishes he had one of those innings back.
Neither coach was completely displeased with their team’s effort in this one.
“We just had a little talk about how we’re in a little slump hitting-wise,” coach Wedeking said...
