Fire collapses rural Allison house

Allison Fire saw a rural house collapse upon arriving at a fire Saturday afternoon.

Located southeast of town, the 12 local firefighters could only contain the blaze. They eventually extinguished the flames three hours later at 7 p.m.

No injuries occurred, as homeowners Scott Mitchell and Amanda Oltmann were gone from their residence at 23136 255th St. Mitchell had been on a trail ride before finding out about the devastation.
