Feed My Starving Children event a success

The Joining Hands to Fight Hunger Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack event hosted by St. John’s—Vilmar, and held at the Butler County Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 28 and 29, was a huge success.
     People came from miles around; there were people from Butler County, members from local churches, indivduals from all over Iowa, and some even driving more than four hours to share in the experience. A total of 101,088 meals were packed during the event.
     The outreach was amazing. People from so many different backgrounds came to pack and help in the mission to eliminate malnutrition and starvation in children throughout the world. There were children as young as five years old and people over 90 who joined in the packing.
