Faces at North Butler: Meet Angie Christensen

Angie Christensen has served as an early childhood special education teacher at North Butler since 2010.
     She works with children from pre-kindergarten through second grade, offering one-on-one help with math and literacy. Generally, she pulls individual students out of classrooms for 30 minutes at a time to give supplemental instruction, which helps them reach their full potential in the classroom.
     “My favorite part [of the job] is the flexibility in my schedule,” Christensen said. “I can spend extra time with a child if needed.”
     She believes staff and students make North Butler Elementary a good school.
