Faces at Clarksville: Meet Heather Foster

Special education teacher Heather Foster stands with 1st Runner-up Miss Clarksville competitor Paige Morrison, as they manage the National Honor Society silent auction during Pioneer Days.

“In sixth grade I had a wonderful teacher, and I wanted to be just like her” said special education teacher Heather Foster. “I knew I wanted to be a teacher from sixth grade on.”

But Foster’s path to becoming a teacher was a long one.

Foster is a former resident of Howard County, where she attended a private Catholic School in Cresco until it closed, and then graduated from Cresco public school.

After getting married, Foster and her husband moved to Virginia Beach, as her husband was in the military, stationed at Norfolk.
