Dumont man to prison for second-degree theft

  A Dumont man was sentenced to up to five years of prison on a finding that he possessed stolen property.
  Cody Michael Bertram, 24, of Dumont pleaded guilty on Aug. 26 to second-degree theft ($1,000 to $10,000), which carries a class D felony, and was sentenced on Nov. 4 in Butler County District Court to up to five years in prison.
  Bertram possessed two snowmobiles and a two-place snowmobile trailer stolen from Waterloo about March 16, according to statements from three witnesses, Butler County Sheriff's Department said in an affidavit of charges filed April 30. ...
