Crash near Allison injures two

The Iowa State Patrol says a collision near Allison Tuesday morning injured two people.
The crash report provided by the ISP said a car driven by Julie Kneip, 51 of Waverly, was traveling west on Highway 3 one mile east of Allison when it crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle traveling east bound driven by Lucy Steer, 86 of Greene. 
The report said Kneip’s vehicle came to rest on the right shoulder and Steer’s vehicle ended up in the north side ditch.
Steer was transported to a hospital in Waverly via ambulance, while a private vehicle took Steer to a Waverly hospital, the report said.
