Council OKs spending for maintenance

The sidewalk east and north of the Post Office was removed and re-graded during the last two weeks of May, as can be observed.
City Council approved for Kenny Bloker Masonry to complete the project, as he submitted the lower of two bids, at $3,885.
However, the curb was higher than the sidewalk, so to cause the water to flow toward the storm sewer, the sidewalk also was replaced.
