Clarksville volleyball struggles with double hits in loss

CLARKSVILLE – It started early and Clarksville never found a way to adjust.

The Indians’ volleyball team struggled through being called for double hits nine times in an Iowa Star Conference sweep by Dunkerton in a 19-25, 20-25, 10-25 loss to the Raiders.

“(The referees) are very, very picky,” Clarksville head coach Heather Petersen said. “If they hear it (two hits), they are going to call it and that is just how they are. It’s got to be a clean set every single time...."
