Clarksville utility maintenance

MidAmerican Energy Company decided to rebuild one of its 69-kilovolt lines in the Clarksville area after in a regular inspection.

Starting work in 2013, around five miles of wood poles were replaced on Iowa Highway 188, north of town. Currently, PAR Electrical Contractors, Inc., of Kansas City, Mo., are install new conductors to the 5-mile section, plus replacing wood poles and conductor on an additional 3 ½ miles.
