Clarksville swept at home against West Central

CLARKSVILLE – Clarksville volleyball coach Brandon Zelle didn’t mince words with what he told his team following a sweep, 25-23, 25-23, 25-16, by visiting West Central, Maynard on Tuesday, Sept. 11.

He said he told them they didn’t play like a team against the Blue Devils, what he felt should have been a home win via sweep.

“I didn’t sugarcoat it,” Zelle said “I told them that was the worst volleyball I had ever seen them play. There was no team chemistry, six individuals not playing as a team.

“We’ll never win if we don’t play as a team..."
