Clarksville Splash Pad campaign over halfway to goal

Fundraising for the Clarksville Splash Pad to go at Volunteer Park is nearly halfway to its goal after the citizen and city committee governing it decided to add a feature. A bucket trio feature is to be added, as it was popular among children surveyed at the Bristow Splash Pad.
The Clarksville Splash Pad committee is planning a mass mailing to Clarksville area residents updating them on the project, this month, which will list the total amount needed as $90,000.
A recent estimate of donations to the Clarksville project was $43,000.
