Clarksville: School district to part ways with superintendent

Clarksville School District is in search of a full-time elementary principal and part-time superintendent for the 2015-16-school year.

Current superintendent/elementary principal Eric Wood and the district will be parting ways at the end of the school year, unless Wood decides to resign sooner. He is in his fourth year at the position.

“We just had a conversation about moving on at the end of the year and not renewing his contract,” said Chris Backer, board of education president. “It’s nothing Mr. Wood did wrong, it’s just a change.”
