Clarksville patrolman resigns

Jeff Tiedt drove around patrolling the streets in town for the final time Friday.

The 26-year-old recently resigned his Clarksville Police Department post as patrolman for a new job at Northern Iowa Public Safety.

Tiedt joined the CPD in October 2012, but took a few months off for basic training. He’ll be one of 20 members on the police staff there.
