Clarksville graduate Bergman earns first head coaching win in a rout

CLARKSVILLE – Too bad Clarksville’s scoreboard suffered a lightning strike the weekend before, first-year Indians’ head coach Zach Bergman might have liked to see it lit up with all of the runs his team produced.
Trailing 3-0 after the top of the third inning, his team responded with a 10-run rally, eventually putting an early end to this Iowa Star Conference game early with an 18-3 victory over visiting Dunkerton.
