Clarksville grad saves man's life

Bob Renning, a 1979 Clarksville grad, had never seen anything like it.

About seven car lengths behind him on Minnesota Interstate 35 were flames rolling underneath a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer.

With the wind fanning the flames, Renning’s girlfriend, Asea, flagged the man down.

However, due to the electrical malfunction, warning and indicator lights were flashing. With the brakes not working, the man coasted over to the side of the road.
