CLARKSVILLE – Even before Clarksville’s wrestling team stepped out on the mat at its home dual on Tuesday, Dec. 8, the Indians knew they were at a disadvantage.

After some injuries, the Indians were without the bottom two weight classes and were giving up 106 through 120.

Even still, coach Tim Negen’s squad battled, going 1-2, opening with a close 42-36 win over Rockford, getting bitten by the forfeits against Wapsie Valley in a 42-39 loss and saw the Indians battle Class 2A Hampton-Dumont in a hard-fought 48-21 loss in the finale.
