Clarksville girls golfers advance to regional

GREENE – A ferocious wind at Round Grove Golf Course wasn’t going to stop the Clarksville girls’ team in the district meet on Monday, May 19.

The Indians, who were seeking redemption after missing the cut by a couple of strokes last year, claimed the second and final team spot by nearly 100 strokes over the host school North Butler.

The wind didn’t bother Arrika Rinnels, who finished the day by carding 100 along with teammate Emily Mennenga.

“It feels wonderful,” Rinnels said....
