Clarksville girls complete sweep of Riceville

CLARKSVILLE – Clarksville girls shrugged off the mantra, ‘it is hard to beat a team three times in one season’ to put a complete game together for a 60-20 win over Riceville on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

Three different Indians’ players scored in double figures, led by Chloe Ross’ 17 points as coach Ross Timmermans’ team improved to 14-3 overall, 6-3 in the Iowa Star North Conference.

“That’s what they say, that it’s tough to beat a team three times,” Timmermans said. “Girls played really well..."
