Clarksville girls' coach glad to get first win in three tries

CLARKSVILLE – Despite the numerous turnovers, Clarksville coach Joe Huck was glad to get his team’s first win over Iowa Star North opponent CAL on Tuesday, Dec. 2.

In the second half alone, his Indians committed 20 turnovers in a 50-34 victory over the Cadets.

But CAL was guilty of the same thing, turning the ball over 22 times in the final 16 minutes of play.

“A lot of defensive pressure,” Huck said of surviving the turnovers....
