Clarksville gets out quick, fades

CLARKSVILLE – Another fast start that brought promise was dashed for the Clarksville boys’ basketball team.
The Indians opened with a 12-10 first quarter lead and extended it to 24-14, but Rockford made defensive changes that put coach Ross Timmermans’ team on its heels to fall behind 27-24 at half in an eventual 59-41 non-conference loss to the Warriors.
