CLARKSVILLE – Janesville held the explosive Clarksville offense in check for the most part in taking the Class 8-Man District 2 title, 50-12, on Friday, Oct. 17.

The Wildcats allowed only two touchdowns against the Indians, both runs by Zach Sommerfelt, who accumulated most of the offense for coach Chris Arians' squad with 161 yards on 19 carries.

But beyond that, Clarksville struggled, tallying a total of 254 total yards, including Sommerfelt's numbers.

More on this story will be found in the Oct. 23 print edition of the Clarksville Star.
