Clarksville duo competes at state

DES MOINES – Seniors James Schellhorn and Zach Sommerfelt represented Clarksville well at the Class 1A state track & field meet in Des Moines last week.
Neither came away with a state medal, but ran strong as Sommerfelt placed 12th in the 400 and Schellhorn was 16th in the 3,200.
Sommerfelt, who ran in the second section of the 400, clocked in at 52.09 seconds for his place.
