Clarksville cools off in district opener

CLARKSVILLE – Leading 27-22 at the half, Clarksville boys’ basketball coach Ross Timmermans said his team lost its aggressiveness in the second half of a 67-45 loss to BCLUW in the Class 1A District 4 opener at home.
Ben Waetjen scored 12 of his team-high 21 points in the first half, but everyone else struggled as the Indians finished the season 5-16.
“We just stopped being aggressive, plain and simple,” Timmermans said. “Guys who were aggressive in the first half, weren’t aggressive in the second half..."
