Clarksville Ambulance: 125 years of service

Clarksville Ambulance Service volunteer crew has a bond.

They’ve all been through enough tough calls to appreciate what the other does for the love of their community.

2014 marks a milestone of 125 combined years of service for the current crew.

Veterans Paul and Karen Miller and Crystal Wedeking make up over half of the service 50, as they pass the baton to the next generation.

“Paul and I always say if we need an ambulance someday, we hope it’s there,” said Karen, the crew chief for the last 23 years, “because it hasn’t always been there.”
