City purchases Schunk structures on Main

Clarksville City Council recently purchased Main Street property from Gerald Schunk at an April 7 meeting.

Known as Schunk Junque and More, an antique business, the structures located at 112 and 114 South Main St. were bought by the city for $10,000 from Schunk.

“It’s one of those buildings that getting dilapidated,” said mayor David Kelm.
