City to adjust water bills in Clarksville

Eight households in Clarksville were without water as of Monday.

Due to extreme cold weather, the residents’ water service lines were frozen. Citizens with frozen pipes were either running a hose from a neighbor’s house for water, or taking showers at relatives’ houses.

This unusual winter has caused the city of Clarksville to adjust water bills for those running water to prevent freezes.
