Forty-three years ago in the spring of 1971, a committee of Florene Christensen, Carl Witt, Beverly Roose and Annette Litterer announced plans to hold a Clarksville Community School’s first annual alumni reception.

The reception was held May 28at 6:30 pm in the gymnasium. The Music Booster would serve a banquet meal of swiss steak, baked potatoes, salad, vegetable, pie and coffee.

The program began with a welcome from Master of Ceremonies Lyle Engel ’46, Wayne Rohlwing ‘46 and his son, Paul Rohlwing ’71. Introduction of honor classes ended in 1 and 6, with class representatives giving reflections of school days.
