Christmas begins in Clarksville

The Christmas season officially kicked off in Clarksville on Saturday as 225 attended the Holiday Open House and Tiny Tree Festival at the Clarksville Public Library.

     “It’s magical,” said Santa Claus as he greeted children with Miss Clarksville Bethany Negen by his side.

     Some kids told him that all they wanted for Christmas this year was to spend time with family and friends. Others just asked for gifts for their family members.

     “Christmas should be a happy time for everyone,” said Santa.
