Child cyclist taken to ER after wreck Monday

Clarksville Police responded to a two-vehicle accident involving a young cyclist at the intersection of Main and Superior streets, on Monday June 20, about 9:25 a.m.
Upon investigation it was determined that a 2011 Ford truck was traveling west on Superior Street and was struck in the side by a bicycle driven by a 9-year-old Clarksville resident traveling south on Main Street.
The child was transported by Clarksville Emergency Medical Services to the Waverly hospital emergency room with non-life-threatening injuries.
