Check water temperature

Repeating what officials from many towns across northern Iowa are saying, Clarksville residents are also encouraged to check the temperature of your water.
Due to extreme cold temperatures this winter and the possibility of deep frost going into the ground, some towns are experiencing frozen service lines from the water main to the building.
As a precaution, the city is urging residents to measure the temperature of the water coming into the building from a cold faucet inside the home or business.
Allow the water to run for a minute or two, to be sure that the water being checked has come from the service pipe outside of the building.
